5 Chefs, 5 Nights, 5 Feasts | A Holiday Guest Chef Series
Tis the season to eat, drink, and be merry – by sharing meals from some of the most notable chefs in San Francisco. This December, come experience it all with our 5 Chefs, 5 Nights, 5 Feasts series.
From Monday December 5th through Friday the 9th, the Fifth Floor will be welcoming five guest chefs into the restaurant and kitchen. Each guest chef will be preparing a special holiday tasting menu inspired by their own unique heritages and cultures for that evening only. In spreading the holiday love to the community, a portion of each feast’s proceeds will be donated to each chef’s charity of choice.

SF Chefs 2011: Food, Wine & Spirits Event of the Year!

We had an incredible time at this year's SF Chefs, the Bay Area's premier food, wine and spirits festival! And this year was bigger than ever with a full week filled with events and parties. Chef David Bazirgan and the Fifth Floor team premiered in the Grand Tasting Tent on Saturday night's "Decadence After Dark" event, serving Suckling Pig and Foie Gras Capellacci.
Chef Baz was also featured in Sunday's Aanlon "Date Night" Cooking Demo. Hosted by Food Network's Aida Mollenkamp, guets were guided on an aphrodisiac adventure with three of San Francisco's hottest chefs: David Bazirgan (Fifth Floor) Mourad Lahlou (Aziza) and Marisa Churchill (Top Chef Season 2). Chef Baz prepared and served sedctive oysters with caviar, bacon and chive blossoms with a beurre blanc drizzle...
What an amazing experience to share our collective love and passion for cuisine, wine and spirits with the Bay Area and beyond!

Fifth Floor at FallFest!

We won! Morgan, our Bar Manager took home the trophy at the FallFest Eco-Cocktail Competition sponsored by San Francisco Magazine and benefiting Meals On Wheels. Six of the Bay Area’s best mixologists mixed, muddled and shook local ingredients with Tequila Don Julio. The result? By popular vote, the best of the fest went to Morgan! She beat out the bartenders from Beretta, Dosa, Otis and Gitane. For more winning pictures, visit our Facebook page. Also, the cocktail is on our bar menu, come in and check it out.

Sommelier Luncheon

We had quite the group in the house! We broke bread with friends and colleagues during our Sommelier Luncheon, where guests got to mix and mingle and ask their favorite sommelier questions about their favorite wines.

SF Chefs, Food, Wine and Cocktail Festival

We had lots of fun at SF Chefs 2010 this past August. Jacques Bezuidenhout served a Plymouth Gin Martini and a Campari Negroni off of our famous Bar Cart. We heard that over 1,500 people visited the tent on Union Square that day. Thanks to all our Fifth Floor friends who stopped by for a drink!

Thanks to our industry friends who came out to our industry nights. It was great to see old friends and new while drinking libations from our newest team member Morgan Young and guest bartender Vince Lund from Beretta.
