Fifth Floor Named One of Top 10 New Restaurants of 2011

We are proud and honored to have been chosen by SF Gate as one of the Top 10 New Restaurants of 2011. Although the restaurant is not new, we have seen some major changes over the past year - most notably the addition of our Executive Chef, David Bazirgan:

"David Bazirgan revitalized this once top-rated hotel restaurant with his New American food. He produces three menus: a casual bar menu, an a la carte menu and a six-course tasting menu ($85), which offers a beautifully executed progression of dishes, balancing tradition with cutting-edge techniques. After tabulating all the votes in our hottest chef competition that pitted the city winners against each other - and eliminating all the fraudulent votes - we can officially crown Eater's First Annual Hottest Chef in America!
